HOW IT WORKS Every time you send a transaction in MetaMask, Chain Guardian automatically analyzes the destination address and checks if it is compatible with the network you are currently on. The result appears directly in your transaction confirmation screen before you click confirm. WHAT IT DETECTS Chain Guardian currently detects address format mismatches for the following networks: - EVM chains (Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Smart Chain, Avalanche, Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, and more) - Solana - Bitcoin (Legacy, SegWit, and Bech32 formats) - Tron - XRP / Ripple - Litecoin - Cardano - Cosmos - Polkadot - Stellar WHAT YOU SEE Green checkmark: The destination address format is compatible with your current network. Safe to proceed. Red warning: The destination address looks like it belongs to a different blockchain. Your funds would be permanently lost if you proceed. Chain Guardian will also suggest bridges you can use to send your funds to the correct network. Yellow warning: The address format is unrecognized.
